Today’s Speakers

Rochester Rotarian Peter Kellerhouse was our speaker today. He started by telling the club that he has know our new president Mike for 21 years. He was instrumental in getting Mike to join the Greece Rotary Club.

He recently attended the Rotary Conference held in Montreal Canada. While there, he made a contribution to the Rotary Foundation in honor of Mike’s upcoming term as our club president. In doing so, he named Mike as a Paul Harris Fellow. He presented Mike with his Paul Harris Fellow membership certificate along with a Paul Harris Medallion and Lapel Pin.

Second Speaker – John Lioi presided over the sapphire elevation of Paul Harris Fellow Allan Wallace for his contributions to the Rotary Foundation. He was able to use the match from the club for his monetary donations. Allan joined the Greece Rotary in 1976. In June of 1990, he received his Paul Harris Recognition for his work on behalf o the club. He received his first sapphire today.  Over the years since he retired from being a banker, his involvement with Rotary has expanded. He was involved with the LPGA for 30 years. He was the club treasurer for 17 years. He served on the club’s Board of Directors. He is on the Camp Haccamo Finance Committee and works tirelessly behind the scenes for our Greece Rotary Golf Tournament.
