Greece Rotary Wraps Up our Food Drive with Donation
In August, the Greece Rotary Club wrapped up its food drive for Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf and Clothing Closet. We donated 90 pounds - we started in mid-July and finished
up the last week of August collecting primarily cereal, canned fruit, and boxed pasta. In addition, past opportunities to serve Rohrbach's at Red Wings games allowed the Club to donate $2,000 to the Greece Ecumenical food shelf. The food shelf was extraordinarily appreciative and able to serve more people in August than they have ever served in one month in the past. This indicates the need in our community and the power Rotarians have to help!
