The Area 9 Fellowship Dinner was held on Oct. 20 with the Rotary Clubs of -Greece, Gates-Chili, Spencerport, Brockport, and Hilton attending the event at Ridgemont Country Club, organized by AG Chuck Gannon.
The event featured special guest speaker Rotarian Don Alhart who spoke on “Renew Rotary”. Don mentioned that all five clubs have contributed over $750,000 to Rotary International, and over 70 Paul Harris Fellows during their existence. Don said we can Renew Rotary using many avenues to support the Rotary Foundation through Rotary Direct, Gifts of Foundation Points to name a few options. We all know one of Don’s favorite stocks in Tootsie Roll, Chuck then presented Don his very own Tootsie Roll socks.
Rotary is all about Fellowship within your club, outside your club and community and on this night new friendship were started, as well old friendships were renewed.
We always speak of the 4-Way Test having a Fifth Test- Having Fun!!! and on this night WE all had Fun!!
